Description
Fire polished glass beads go back 500 years, made to imitate the appearance of polished precious stones, while also preserving the option of stringing the beads.
The beads are made by pouring glass into molds, grinding them into facets, and then reheating them in a kiln to melt the surface.
Fire polished beads can have different surface finishes, such as iris coatings, luster coatings, and vacuum coatings. AB coatings add reflective coloring and beauty.
