Menagerie consists of Jon & Lisa Butts; a husband & wife duo performing on the hammered dulcimer, guitar, flute, penny whistle, harp, vocals & much more. This talented & energetic couple offer a wide & exciting variety of music from medieval to modern. Menagerie was formed in 1993 & has been performing around the eastern part of the United States at Festivals, Renaissance Faires, weddings, private parties, schools, book stores, coffee shops & restaurants. ‘Down the Brae’ is a mixture of Menagerie’s pub show & their instrumental music.

“This is a fantastic album for the English/Celtic folk music fan – Although not as well known as the Paddie Bell/the Cories or the Dubliners this groups music is a truly awesome both in the vocals (I really love thier rendition of “Mountain Dew”) and instrumentals are a true audio feast.
