When the original quarter-inch four-track masters were unearthed, Bill Roper and Eli Goldberg of Prometheus Music carefully transferred them from tape to digital. Using modern audio restoration tools, they cleaned up the tape hiss and microphone bleed under a strict “Do No Harm” philosophy. The result? A pristine mix that preserves the raw, authentic energy of the original 1986 sessions without the cassette-era artifacts.
